Summary: We collect the details you choose to provide through our contact form and limited technical information needed to operate, secure and protect the website from spam. We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies.

1. Who we are

Elevare Intelligence is a UK business providing commercial intelligence and lead-generation related services. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Elevare Intelligence is the controller of personal information collected through this website.

You can contact us using the enquiry form on the website contact section. Business and proprietor details can also be supplied on request where reasonably required.

2. Information we collect

We may collect:

  • your name, work email address, company name and the content of your enquiry;
  • records of correspondence and any information you later provide while discussing potential services;
  • basic technical and security information generated when you use the website, such as IP address, browser information, timestamps and server logs;
  • security-challenge information used to distinguish genuine users from automated or abusive submissions;
  • a browser-storage preference recording whether you rejected non-essential technologies or closed the cookie notice.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information, confidential client material or special-category data through the general contact form.

3. How we use personal information

We use personal information to:

  • receive, assess and respond to enquiries;
  • arrange calls and discuss possible services;
  • prepare proposals, quotations or contracts where requested;
  • operate, maintain and protect the website and contact form;
  • prevent spam, fraud, misuse and security incidents;
  • keep appropriate business, legal and accounting records;
  • establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not use contact-form submissions to send unrelated bulk marketing. Where future marketing is appropriate, it will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection and electronic marketing rules.

4. Lawful bases

Depending on the circumstances, we rely on:

  • legitimate interests to respond to business enquiries, develop commercial relationships, secure the website and maintain relevant records;
  • steps requested before entering into a contract and contractual necessity where you ask us to quote for or provide services;
  • legal obligation where records must be retained or disclosed by law;
  • consent only where the law specifically requires it. Where we rely on consent, it can be withdrawn.

5. Sharing and service providers

We may share information only where necessary with trusted providers supporting the website and business, including:

  • Netlify, which hosts the website, processes contact-form submissions and applies automated spam filtering;
  • Google reCAPTCHA, used through Netlify to provide a human-verification and abuse-prevention challenge;
  • email, cloud-storage, IT security and professional advisers;
  • public authorities, regulators, courts or law-enforcement bodies where disclosure is required or permitted by law.

These providers may process information on our behalf under their own security and data-protection arrangements. Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where this occurs, we expect appropriate safeguards to be used as required by law.

6. How long we keep information

We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected:

  • unsuccessful or routine enquiries are normally deleted within 24 months of the last meaningful contact;
  • records connected with services, contracts, invoices or disputes may be retained for up to seven years, or longer where required by law or an active claim;
  • security and hosting logs are retained according to the operational retention periods of the relevant provider;
  • the local browser preference for cookie choices expires or is refreshed after approximately 180 days.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable conditions and exemptions, you may have the right to:

  • ask for access to your personal information;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • ask for information to be erased or restricted;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests or to direct marketing;
  • receive certain information in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis;
  • complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

We may need to verify your identity before responding to a rights request.

8. Cookies and similar storage

This website does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. It uses local browser storage solely to remember your cookie-choice response for approximately 180 days. The record contains a version number, your selected response and the time the preference was saved.

You can reject non-essential cookies using the cookie controls. No non-essential cookies are currently set. You can reopen the controls from the website footer or remove the saved preference by clearing this site's data in your browser.

The contact form uses Netlify spam filtering, a hidden honeypot and Google reCAPTCHA to prevent automated or abusive submissions. These security services may process technical information and may use cookies or similar storage for security, fraud-prevention and human-verification purposes. They are used only when needed to protect and provide the contact-form service.

Google-hosted font files are requested when the website loads. This may disclose technical information such as your IP address and browser details to Google. No Google Analytics service is currently installed on this website.

9. Security

We use proportionate technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information, including automated spam filtering and human-verification controls on the contact form. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so information should not be sent through the contact form where a higher-security method is required.

10. Contact, complaints and changes

For privacy questions or requests, contact us through the website enquiry form and state that your message concerns privacy.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.

We may update this policy when our services, suppliers or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised date.
